African has over 40% of their raw mineral resources in the world yet it remains the poorest of the globe. With Ghana recent discovery of hydrocarbons in commercial quantity, the curse of the minerals in Africa cannot escape Ghana by just legislations and good policies or local contents development only. The area of services to the industry must be key to exploit the full benefit of the industry. This fair which will focus mostly on the services; health and environment and renewal energy sources issue of the oil and gas industry of Africa will exploit all the opportunities that lie in this rich industry. The services sector requires less trained human resources and capital but demands high level of efficiency and professionalism. It also broadens the opportunities for indigenes and reduces conflict in resources rich areas. This fair will be the first Indigenous event in the oil and gas industry and provide exhibitors with local knowledge of the terrain and leads to local influence on the expertise of the industry.
